SACCI End-of-Year Celebration Speech Transcript
Ladies and Gentlemen, Distinguished Guests
First of all a big welcome and thank you for coming tonight.
2006 has been a big year for the Swiss-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry
and it would not be possible without your ongoing support.
In brief summary, this year we have:
- relocated our premises to the city;
- increased Corporate Sponsors to a record 21;
- increased membership from a ten year average of around 250 to over 330;
- opened our first office in Victoria; &
- continued to meet our trade promotion obligations on behalf of the Swiss
Government by answering hundreds of trade related enquiries as well as
undertaking specialised research
Tonight is a special night and I hope you will enjoy the spectacular venue we
have chosen.
However before I close I would like to thank all our helpers for this evening
and finally a big thank you to our Principal Sponsor Anil Rodricks of Swiss
International Air Lines.
